Very. The written flat rate is set from your room count, the access at both ends (stairs, elevator, parking), and the distance. As long as the job matches what you told us, the number does not move.
A week or two is comfortable, and month-end, weekends, and anything near September 1 book up quickest. We still fit in same-week and next-day moves when a crew is free, so it is always worth a call.
A small, refundable deposit holds your crew and your date. The balance is due only when the job is done and you have okayed the final flat rate, and the estimate itself is always free.
We are fully licensed and insured in Massachusetts, we run our own trucks and W-2 crews (no day labor, no brokers), and we quote one flat rate in writing. We also pull your street permit and handle the triple-decker stairs that trip up out-of-town movers.
